About Ton Chong Fa Waterfall
The most accessible waterfall near Khao Lak, and a nice easy jungle outing. It comes in several tiers with pools you can cool off in, reached by a short walk from the car park. If you want the upper tiers there is a bit of a rock scramble, but nothing extreme.
The honest caveat is water flow. This waterfall can run low or nearly dry in the hot months, and a trickle is a lot less rewarding than a proper cascade. It is genuinely worth checking the current flow before you make the trip.
Get the timing right and it is a pleasant couple of hours close to town. Time it wrong and you may find more rock than water.
