Out Thailand ("we", "us") publishes local guides and event listings for Thailand. This page explains what we collect when you visit outthailand.com and how we use it. We keep this deliberately simple, because we run a simple site.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, emails, or payment details through the site. The data we do handle is limited to:

• Basic usage data. Like most websites, our host and analytics tools record standard technical information such as your approximate location (country or region), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived.
• Anything you send us. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which guides and events people find useful. It sets cookies and collects usage data as described above. This is aggregate and used to improve the site, not to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Advertising

We may display ads to help cover the cost of running Out Thailand. When we do, third-party advertising partners (such as Google) may use cookies to show more relevant ads and measure performance. You can manage ad personalization through your Google account settings and standard browser controls.

External links

Our guides link to venues, organizers, and other websites we don't control. Once you leave Out Thailand, their privacy practices apply, not ours. Check their policies before sharing information with them.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information with the service providers that help us run the site (hosting, analytics, advertising), and only as needed for those services to function.

Children

Out Thailand is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or the tools we use change. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page.
