About Kamala Beach
Kamala is a calmer alternative to Patong that still holds onto some of its local-village character. It's family-friendly and low-key, with a mix of local eateries and upscale resorts strung along the stretch known as Millionaire's Mile.
It's a good middle option if you want something quieter than Patong but not totally remote. Mornings are when the sea is calmest.
Come here for an easygoing beach day rather than nightlife or action.
