About Karon Beach
Karon is the sensible middle ground. It's developed and has everything you need, but the wide three-kilometre strip means it feels roomier and quieter than Patong. The famously squeaky white sand underfoot is a fun little novelty.
It's a good pick if you want convenience without the chaos next door. Plenty of space to spread out even when it's reasonably busy.
One caution: the seasonal rip currents here can be strong, so watch the flags before you go in.
