About Railay West Beach
This one lives up to the hype. Railay West is the postcard: white sand, clear water, and giant limestone cliffs wrapping the bay. It is genuinely worth the trip.
Because the peninsula is boat-only, it holds a slightly separate, more relaxed feel than the mainland. West is the pretty swimming and sunset side, while East Railay across the way is mangrove-fringed with cheaper places to stay.
Sunset is the moment here, so stick around for it. And since it is world-famous for rock climbing, expect to see plenty of climbers on the crags.
