About Phra Nang Cave Beach
A lot of people call this the most beautiful beach in Krabi, and on a quiet morning it is hard to argue. Fine white sand, clear water, and dramatic cliffs, with the Princess Cave shrine tucked at one end.
The honest downside is that it gets crowded by midday and there is almost no shade, so the trick is simple: get there early. Come at opening light and you will have something close to the postcard to yourself.
Fair warning about that shrine, the Princess Cave is filled with phallic fertility offerings, which surprises first-timers. It is a local tradition, not a novelty.
