About Op Khan National Park

Op Khan is the pick if you want nature without the crowds. It centers on a scenic limestone gorge with a river running through it and a handful of short nature trails, and because it's less known than the bigger parks, you can actually have parts of it to yourself.

There's no public transport out here, so you'll need a car or scooter for the drive from the Old City. It's not a long trip, but it's far enough that it keeps the casual tourist traffic away, which is really the point.

The gorge and stream look their best after rain, so green or cool season is the better window if you want the water at its most scenic.
