About Ko Wai
This tiny, undeveloped island southeast of Ko Chang is a gem for snorkelers. The water is clear and there's excellent shallow reef right off the beach, so you can be in the water within minutes of stepping ashore. It's often the first stop on southern island-hopping routes.
Don't come expecting a resort. Accommodation is basic bungalows only, with limited electricity, so it's a rustic escape rather than a comfortable base. That simplicity is exactly the point for the people who love it.
Easy to do as a day trip, or stay a night if you want to unplug properly.
