About King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk

The views from up here are excellent, no argument, taking in the sprawl of Bangkok from near the top of one of its tallest towers. The signature thrill is the glass-floor tray, where you stand out over the drop with nothing but glass beneath your feet. If that's the kind of thing you're after, it delivers.

Here's the honest caveat: it's pricey. If jaw-dropping views are all you want, a rooftop bar somewhere else in the city can give you a very similar skyline for the cost of a drink, and you get the drink. So the value depends on whether the glass floor and the dedicated observation experience matter to you.

If you do go, aim for sunset into blue hour so you catch both daylight and the city lighting up, and book ahead for those peak times.

Highlights

  • Sweeping views from near the top of the tower
