About Chicken Island (Ko Kai / Ko Hua Khwan)
The name comes from a limestone spire that really does look like a chicken's head, and it makes for a fun photo. There is decent snorkeling around here too.
The real draw, though, is the Talay Waek sandbar, the 'separated sea' that surfaces at low tide and lets you walk between Chicken, Tup, and Mor islands right across the water. Time it right and it is a highlight of the whole 4-Islands trip.
Get the tide wrong and you miss the walk, so check the timing before you go. Most visitors see this on a tour rather than solo.
