About Bang Pae Waterfall
Bang Pae is the larger of Phuket's two main waterfalls, set in the island's last patch of virgin rainforest. It's an easy walk from the car park, and honestly the rainforest setting is nicer than the falls themselves.
Set expectations: it's modest by Thai standards and can slow to a trickle late in the dry season. Come during or just after the rains for the best flow.
The real reason to come is that the trailhead also serves the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project, so you can pair the two into one worthwhile stop.
