The small entry fee usually comes with a cup of local Chinese tea, a nice touch while you wait for the light. Getting up is easy enough, a drive up and a short walk to the platform, though the final road is steep.
Afterward, roll down to Santichon Village and on to Mo Paeng to round out the western loop.
