About Wat Yansangwararam
Wat Yansangwararam is a big, calm royal-sponsored temple complex south of Pattaya, and it's one of the more underrated stops around here. A central chedi, a lake, pavilions and landscaped gardens give you room to wander, and it's a world away from the busy beachfront temples.
What makes it worth the trip is exactly that peace and quiet. Far fewer tourists find their way out here, so you get a proper temple atmosphere rather than a photo scrum. It pairs naturally with Khao Chi Chan just down the road.
Come in the morning while it's cool and quiet, and dress modestly since it's an active temple. Cover your shoulders and knees.
