About Sai Ngam Hot Spring
This is the local favorite, and the better of Pai's two hot springs. Clear turquoise pools sit under the trees in a jungle stream, warm enough to actually swim in rather than just dip a toe. It feels natural and unfussy in a way Tha Pai doesn't.
The catch is the ride out: it's north of town with a rough, unpaved final stretch, so take the last bit slow. It's worth the bumpy approach.
Go early to have the pools mostly to yourself before the tour groups roll in.
