About Pattaya Walking Street
Walking Street is Pattaya's infamous neon nightlife strip, a pedestrianised blaze of go-go bars, clubs, seafood restaurants and street performers at the south end of Beach Road. It's a spectacle, and going once to see it for yourself is part of the Pattaya experience.
Be clear about what it is. This is adult-oriented, seedy and scam-prone, not a family outing. Watch your drink prices and be wary of touts, because the classic tricks are all here. Go to experience the atmosphere, not to let your guard down.
It comes alive after dark and hits full tilt later in the evening. Free to walk in, though the venues will happily charge you. Keep your wits about you and enjoy the show.
