About Ko Sak
Ko Sak is the little horseshoe-shaped island just north of Ko Lan, and it's a nice surprise for snorkellers. Two small sandy beaches and a shallow coral reef make it calmer and clearer than busy Ko Lan, and it flies under the radar because most people don't visit it on its own.
You'll usually reach it as part of a combined boat or snorkel tour rather than independently, which suits it fine. It's a short hop by speedboat and works well as one stop on an island-hopping day.
Come in the calm season for the best visibility and go in the morning before the water gets stirred up. It's an easy, low-key swim-and-snorkel spot.
Highlights
- Quiet horseshoe-shaped island with two beaches

Tips
- Visit November to April for the calmest, clearest water
- Go in the morning for the best visibility
- Easiest reached on a combined snorkel or island-hopping tour, not solo
