About Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park
The mountain of 300 peaks is a genuine regional highlight, where limestone karsts shoot straight up out of coastal wetlands. Between the caves, mangroves, quiet beaches and abundant birdlife and monkeys, there is enough here to fill a half or full day, and it rewards the effort of getting out here.
Its star attraction is Phraya Nakhon Cave, the famous skylight cavern, and most people build their visit around it. But even the drive through the karst-and-wetland scenery is worth the ticket.
Come in the cool dry season if you can, and start early for the best wildlife and the cave light beam. Bring water and sun protection, because it gets hot and there is not always shade.

About 58-60 km south of Hua Hin. Best reached by private car, taxi or organised tour (~1 hour); no convenient public transport to the park interior.
