About Khao Ngon Nak (Dragon Crest / Tab Kak Hang Nak Trail)
This is arguably the top viewpoint hike in Krabi, and it earns the reputation. You climb through jungle to a dragon-spine ridge that looks out over the Hong Islands and the Andaman coast, and the payoff is spectacular.
No sugarcoating it though: this is a genuine sweaty climb, steep and long. It is not a casual stroll, so come prepared and know your limits.
Start early, both for the cooler air and because there is a hard cutoff on entry and you need to be back down by late afternoon. Bring plenty of water and grippy shoes.
