About Than Sadet Waterfall
Than Sadet is a run of granite cascades and pools tumbling down to the sea, and it carries real history. Several Thai kings came here and left their initials carved into the boulders, which makes it more than just another pretty waterfall.
The honest catch is the one that applies to every waterfall on Koh Phangan: it's seasonal. Come in the wet months and the water actually flows and the pools are worth a dip. Come in the dry season and you may be looking at bare rock. Plan accordingly.
The access road is the real challenge here, steep and winding, so this is one for confident scooter riders or a 4x4 taxi. In season, boat trips are another way in.

How to get there
~15 km east of Thong Sala on a steep, winding road; experienced riders on a scooter or a 4x4 taxi, ~30-40 min. Boat trips also run in season
