About PB Valley Khao Yai Winery
PB Valley is one of Thailand's pioneering 'new latitude' wineries, and it's a legitimate working operation rather than a themed photo prop. You can wander the grounds and eat at the hilltop Great Hornbill Grille for free, or pay for a guided vineyard tour and tasting.
Be realistic about the wine. Thai wine is more novelty than world-class, but the setting beside Khao Yai and the tour itself are enjoyable, and that's really the draw here. The vineyard light is lovely late in the afternoon.
You'll need to drive or arrange a tour, as there's no convenient public transport out into the valley. On weekends, book the tour ahead so you're not stuck waiting for a slot.
