About Haew Suwat Waterfall
Haew Suwat is the crowd favourite inside Khao Yai, partly thanks to its cameo in the film The Beach. A short walk from the car park brings you to viewing decks over a wide curtain of water and its plunge pool, so it's an easy add to any park day.
Timing matters a lot here. After the rains the falls are broad and full; in the dry months the flow drops off noticeably and it's a much gentler sight. If you're picturing a swim, note that swimming is usually off-limits for safety, so come for the view rather than a dip.
It's popular, which means it can get busy. Pairing it with the drive in and other park stops makes the most of the entry fee you've already paid.

How to get there
From Pak Chong: drive into Khao Yai NP via the northern gate, then follow park roads ~13 km past the visitor centre; ~1 hr / ~40 km total by car from town. Short walk from the car park to the falls.
